Many divers have known these waters for many years, so they spend their summer holidays combining the history and culture of Sicily with this beautiful seabed.

Scuba diving experienced within the marine protected area of Isola Bella is suitable for everyone, from certified Open water divers up to expert divers with Advanced Open water licence.
The various tunnels of Isola Bella, the long wall above the beautiful Blue Cave, the ruins of Greek columns at the bottom of Capo Taormina, the mermaid rock that reaches the limit of recreational diving, the rock of Zu Innaru with its vertical suggestive wall, are the main features of the Taormina seabed. Colorful sponges, seaweed, coral and deep sea fans enrich the shape of this seabed. Shoals of breams, goldenlines, large groupers, moray eels and shy octopuses, are common in the sea of Taormina.
